Araw Ng Pag Agos
January 25th, 2006 by fayeshkaI am digging Up Dharma Down’s Araw ng Pag-agos right now. Armi, the band’s vocalist and keyboardist has the most amazing voice. I’ve been playing that song over and over at work today, together with their single "Maybe". This is absolutely not an amateur’s music review though, just sharing… since the band’s not that mainstream yet. Ah, and we have sweet news: Finally they will be launching their album this January 28! I am definitely buying that.

Let me recycle my Entry title, coz the subject is also applicable to what happened to me today. If i could physically strangle Rain, and scratch its face with my nails, break its neck and perform a "Hai-Ya!" on it, i would have done so. Rain has been cruel to me today, as it soaked me to the core on my way to work. Of all the many days that my dad brings me to the office, oddly and coincidentally, today was not it. Today when it was raining, and when the shuttle decides to follow a different route, leaving me no choice but to step off at Ayala without an umbrella. Today when i was wearing flip flops (coz i’m not into heels, they kill my feet) and when I was carrying a not-so-decent-paper bag which eventually bailed on me too. Just when i got off the jeepney from Ayala, I found shelter at the Philippine AXA Life Building along Buendia. I was on my way to ride another jeep when my son-of-a-bitch of a paper bag was suddenly torn right in the middle, and its contents went falling on the ground. I was there on the sidewalk, picking it up, and another vehicle almost splashed canal water on me! Gah, the hassle of it all.
When i finally got to the office, i was cold and damp, and a little defeated. I have to thank Ekai for lending me her jacket. At least it kept me warm for a bit.
You’re an angel dude! A lifesaver!
Office has been a little blah also. Then again, atleast i had something to do. I really don’t like it when i have too much idle time. I prefer to have a goal to reach at the end of each day. The end of the day should be at 6:00 pm, but i’m still at the office waiting for my teammate to compile my projects so i could alraedy test in on the development environment. *Sigh* Goals can be dumb sometimes.
